What WALAO does.
Everything on this page is built and running today. There is no roadmap section here — when something ships, it appears; until then it does not.
It reads what you allowed, and reports what it found.
01
Group selection
Enable groups one at a time. A group that is not enabled never reaches the processing layer at all — it is not stored, summarised or searchable. Disabling one stops it immediately.
02
Daily group summaries
Each enabled group gets its own summary at a time and timezone you set for it: highlights, decisions, action items, dates and open questions. Every item names the messages it was drawn from.
03
Today Brief
All of your groups merged and ranked into three buckets — needs you, decided, worth noting. Duplicates across groups are merged, and the sources stay visible. Delivered in the app, and optionally as a private WhatsApp message to yourself.
04
Ask WALAO
Ask in your own words — “what did the procurement group decide yesterday?” — and get an answer built only from groups you approved and data still inside your retention window, with the messages it relied on attached.
Nothing happens because a message said so.
Both of these take your confirmation. A group cannot create a reminder, and it cannot teach WALAO a fact about you.
Reminders
Turn an action item into a reminder with an owner and a due date. Nothing becomes a reminder because a message said so — it takes your confirmation.
Confirmed memories
Facts worth keeping past the retention window are proposed as candidates first. You confirm, edit or discard. Nothing is remembered long-term behind your back.
A summary that pretends to be complete is worse than no summary.
Coverage gaps
If the WhatsApp connection dropped, the brief says which window it could not see. A summary never pretends to be complete when it isn't.
Connection health
One banner, everywhere, says whether the connection is live, disconnected or needs re-pairing — in the same words on every screen.
Privacy controls
Set retention between 1 and 30 days, pause all processing, export everything, or delete your account. Each of those is recorded and verifiable.
Group messages are untrusted input
Text inside a group cannot change WALAO's rules or make it take an action. A message is something to summarise, never an instruction to follow.
What WALAO deliberately does not do.
- It does not reply in your groups on your behalf.
- It does not send bulk or marketing messages.
- It does not import history from before you connected.
- It does not read images, voice notes, video or documents.
- It does not post your private brief back into a group.
