Core workflow

Your daily review

Let WALAO narrow the day, then use your own judgment to close the loop.

One daily pickUp to five items

From message to daily pick

Read a group summary

A summary can contain highlights, decisions, action items, dates, open questions, and memory candidates. Empty sections are valid. WALAO is instructed not to pad a quiet window.

Each item keeps one or more source message IDs. Open the citation details when a date, amount, owner, or decision matters.

Citations reduce risk, but do not prove meaning

A citation proves that the output points to a real retrieved message. It does not prove that the model interpreted that message correctly.

Use Today in two modes

Briefing

A calm headline and the selected items. Use this for a quick scan.

Console

All needs-action, decided, and worth-noting items, plus group, usage, and coverage context.

Mark an item Done or Dismissed to clear it from your working view. If an action item should persist, confirm it as a reminder.

The Run brief now button is not currently functional

The Today console calls a route that the server does not implement. Wait for the configured schedule or reload after the background pipeline runs.

Know what can interrupt you

The account digest sends one WhatsApp message to the paired account at the chosen daily time. A quiet day still sends a clear nothing-needs-you message.

Two other paths can send sooner:

  • An interval group can push a refreshed pick when its new summary contains something relevant.
  • A direct mention can trigger a ping when the relevance check decides that it needs you. The check is capped at five judgments per hour per account.

Use Lists for commitments and standing facts

Reminders

A reminder exists only after you confirm an action item. You can edit its owner and due time, mark it done or dismissed, and reopen it later.

Memory candidates

The model can propose durable facts. Nothing becomes a memory until you select Keep this. A candidate expires after its confirmation window.

Memories

Confirmed memories persist until you edit or delete them. They keep source references, but Ask WALAO does not currently retrieve them.

A practical five-minute routine

  1. Read the headline

Decide whether the pick looks plausible for the day.

  2. Open high-stakes sources

Verify dates, money, ownership, and commitments against the cited messages.

  3. Confirm only real commitments

Create reminders only for work you intend to track.

  4. Keep only durable facts

A memory should still matter after the original summary ages out.

  5. Check coverage

If a connection gap is shown, assume some messages may be missing.
