The product terms you will see in WALAO and what each one actually means.
Current interface terms
Core outputs
| Summary | Structured output for one group and one scheduled time window. It can include six cited sections. |
| Brief | A merged view of recent summary items across enabled groups, grouped into needs action, decided, and worth noting. |
| Pick | The model's headline and selection of up to five existing brief items that appear to need you today. |
| Citation | A reference from an output item to one or more real source message IDs. |
| Source | A retained message or summary passage used to support an output. |
Lists and state
| Reminder | An action item you explicitly confirmed. It can have an owner, due time, and open, done, or dismissed state. |
| Memory candidate | A durable fact proposed by a summary. It is temporary until you keep it. |
| Memory | A candidate you explicitly confirmed. It persists until edited, deleted, or removed with related data. |
| Done | Your signal that a brief item has been handled. |
| Dismissed | Your signal that a brief item does not need action. |
Processing
| Enabled group | A selected entry whose new inbound messages may enter the WALAO pipeline. |
| Cadence | How often a group summary window runs: daily or at a configured hour interval. |
| Daily digest | The WhatsApp message to the paired account at its chosen time, containing the day's pick. |
| Mention ping | A faster self-message for a relevant direct mention, subject to AI judgment and an hourly cap. |
| Processing block | A state such as pause, disconnect, halt, unpaid status, or plan cap that stops part of the pipeline. |
| Coverage gap | A recorded period when WALAO was not receiving complete data. |
Account and trust
| Attestation | A versioned record of an important responsibility or disclosure you accepted. |
| Retention | The 1 to 30 day expiry selected for newly stored normalised message rows. |
| Quality review | An optional permission for operators to inspect summaries for output quality. |
| Tier 1 outbound | A separate opt-in for supported outbound sending from the paired number. |
| Credit | One AI-generated group summary. |
